Supply Chain Modernization

A national logistics firm could track parcels but couldn't see the chain. We designed and delivered a visibility platform covering every handoff — warehouse scan to customer doorstep.

Designing the Transline supply chain platform
The challenge

Data at every stop, insight at none

Transline's warehouses, fleet, and last-mile partners each ran their own tracking. Customer service answered "where's my shipment?" by phoning three depots. Delay patterns hid in the gaps between systems, and peak season meant overtime plus apologies.

Leadership wanted one source of truth before investing in new hubs — they needed to see the network they already had.

The approach

Consult first, then build the missing layer

Our consultancy phase mapped all eleven handoff points and ranked them by delay cost. Instead of replacing working systems, we built an integration layer: normalized event streams feeding a network-wide timeline with delay prediction.

Dispatchers got a live control tower; customers got honest ETAs with proactive delay notices; executives got network analytics showing exactly where the next hub should go.

Outcome

A chain they can finally see

One timeline

Every shipment's full journey in a single view — no more three-phone-call tracing.

Earlier warnings

Delay prediction flags at-risk deliveries hours before customers notice.

Smarter expansion

Network analytics pinpointed the two corridors where new hubs pay off fastest.

"Cloudmere's consultancy saved us from a costly rebuild. They connected what we had and made it brilliant."
